Description
Acting Module will teach you to look for inspiration in everything around you,
how to move and express yourself by using corporality in motion and body as a mean of communication.
Acting will enrich your life in many ways: from making you more balanced and effective in social and work situations, to helping you be more flexible and adaptable to changing conditions.
Besides, it's just fun!
You don't have to be sociable, loud, attention-grabbing, or any other common idea people have about performers. The best actors are often quiet, thoughtful and in many cases quite reserved, serious or very calm when they are not performing. The main thing is that you should be yourself, be open to trying something new, and be ready to constantly work on creating your acting tools.
If you do practical work on yourself, you will develop a huge talent that no one can take away from you.
Please join us on this wonderful learning journey!

Courses
How to create a productive team - personal purpose vs. group purpose (the workshop is designed to use theatre games in order to establish the main pillars that are required in obtaining a diverse but compact work group, as in a theatre company)
Concession and collaboration (exploring personal limits and methods of negotiating in a group, how to overcome boundaries and explore everyone's fears and preconceived ideas using creative scene moments)
Emotions and control (using every emotion in order to develop a creative background and an inclusive environment where nobody is wrong or right but everyone is ok and part of the group)
How to lead and be leaded (leadership as a key concept in achieving a goal; learning how to exchange power within partners, how to gain trust and how to confide in someone - using theatre games in order to discover each others abilities and creative power)
Spontaneity as a source of developing freedom of speech (discussing and exploring the 7th aspects of spontaneity in theatre)
Clarity of the thought (voice and breathing exercises, creative writing, from script to interpretation)
The course was very interesting, but above all interactive, engaging the participants in group work in an online setting. Although the mission seemed impossible, the instructors managed to develop our creativity and collaboration skills in these conditions. Being an actor is being able to connect to your emotions. But we as human beings need this as well in order to be able to build relationships and live in peaceful communities. So, empathy helps us be connected to our true selves and enables us to relate to the other people's feelings. Isn't this wonderful? We can be great team members and solve conflicts with empathy. It was interesting to discover what is behind spontaneity and how important for a piece of spontaneous discourse is to be anchored in the present. Although this seemed obvious when I was told this from a theatrical perspective it suddenly made sense. I am also grateful for the way creativity was explained. I've always believed in the power of the creative mind, but I have connected it with the imagination. The instructors helped me see the tremendous role empathy has in the creative process. It helped me see Keats's quote in a totally new light: "Nothing ever becomes real till it is experienced." I would like to say that I have already used two activities we did during the course with my MA students and I really like the way it went. Thank you. Keep up the good work! I link theatre to the survival of humankind as a species :)))
