It was an interesting course that helped me raise a better awareness of my corporal movements. It's extremely useful to be reminded from time to time about the way we carry our body. Moreover, as most of the information is rendered by extra-verbal cues, it is important for us to be aware of what our body does when we speak or listen in an act of communication. We want to build relationships and successfully engage in the process of meaning negation, and mastering our corporality can help us achieve success in communication and avoid communication failures. In my opinion, the special attention paid to physical and mental health was necessary for us, teachers. The ancients said a sound mind in a sound body. So, wellness is above all the realization of the fact that mental health should be put on equal footing with physical health, particularly at present when we live in the age of digital content and people are exposed to an enormous amount of information their brain has basically no time to process properly.
