The Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts (AMTAP) is the only public HEI in the Republic of Moldova providing professional training in the field of arts (music, fine arts, design, theatre, cinema, choreography, cultural studies, arts management). In 2019 the Creative HUB at Fine Arts Faculty, supported by USAID, Embassy of Sweden has been open. Since 2018 AMTAP students take part at Start Up Semester aimed to development entrepreneurs’ skills of young professionals in creative and cultural industries. The Academy held a wide range of international events incl. ClassFest, the international Festival of theatre schools,9 editions, with participation of the teachers and students from The Faculty of Theatre, Choreography Art and Multimedia as well as students from EU and former Soviet countries HEIs; annual Martisor Student’s Music Festival. Since 2013 our students participate at international project Donaufest, Ulm, Germany; In 2019 AMTAP held the co-project with “J. Tomadini” Conservatoire of Music, Udine, Italy. The Fine Arts Faculty members take part at the Bunker Expozition Centre activities supported by Goethe Institut; Creative Summer Camp&Sympozion in collaboration with National University of Arts “G. Enescu”, Iasi, Romania. AMTAP has partners within Erasmus+ (K107) Program in Italy, Spain, Romania, Turkey, Poland. AMTAP is also a member of consortiums within Erasmus + Capacity Building Projects dedicated to the internationalization (Elevate) and LLL (Compass). We also participate at COST Actions: CA17114 (Transdisciplinary solutions to cross sectoral disadvantage in youth (YOUNG-IN); CA17132 (European network for argumentation and public policy analysis (APPLY)); CA18136 European Forum for Advanced Practices (EFAP); CA15207 (ProSEPS); CA18236 (Multi-disciplinary innovation for social change).
