It's hard to say little about your favorite subject! But you are right, sometimes we get carried away and students get bored and sad at our lectures!

Thank you for the introduction video! I absolutely agree with you. Moreover, I have my personal formula for the private teaching process and maybe it is useful for others. "If your today lecture/seminar is exactly the same as it was yesterday, it means that something is going the wrong way. Keep learning to increase your productivity and capacity for students!"

Yeah, and here we face the dilemma! We can not afford changing/upgrading the materials every ... year (you say even every day), it is simply making us working 24/7. At the same time we have to reflect the rapidly changing environment, students... I would say it is like a show (better "play") in the theatre. We have to keep the original text the same while if we repeat the same play every day/month, we loose the audience. But.. big maestro find the way to be fresh, even directing the same play for 100th time, finding valuable nuances, shadows etc :)

I think teaching is a living profession, you should always walk with the time and make your lessons more fun and innovative as everybody starts using non-traditional methods.

Right. At the same time (I am speaking of myself) there is certain ... platform you stick to. And you can progress within this platform for 10 even 20 years. But each year you are drifting away from the cutting edge. Every day a little bit... And you end up funding yourself still teaching face to face 1.5 hours lectures while students watch only 10...15 min video only. For me the problem is to force myself to learn new technologies, new ways of doing things.

I do agree that we should keep learning.
