I support the idea that the teacher must have a wide range of tools in order to motivate students in the educational process, and one of these tools is humor, which must be used but dosed.

Thank you! Sure, I agree Education is life and one of the main parts of productive education is - Engagement and practice Based education to prepare our students for real-life events, cases or even obstacles to develop all Soft Skills they need to handle all cases it will be connected to people or other issues or aspects. It is so important to have simulations, Role-Playings, Cases from real life and Brainstorming. Practice based approach grows students not at the end of the course or levels, but form meeting to meeting, it helps them to feel more self confident and helps them to move on the next arches of experience.
Sure, I agree the value of sense of humor is really important, we can even underline that it helps them to relax for some seconds and then very naturally be engaged to the process with motivation and interest. So important to make every student not only be in the process, but feel it and to feel the enjoyment gained through the learning process and the status of a student itself.

Thank you for the great examples!

I haven't frowned upon the statement that students need much more fun sense during the synchronous teaching process, because it helps them to improve engagement and motivation.

However, Prof. Chechurin and Ph.D. candidate, Chakir, you know well that teacher's fun mood and using jokes or humor makes occasionally a sense to the students that they can get marks easily or complete the course smoothly, moreover after their graduations, when they start working in the real place and organizations, they discover fun people, like the teachers and they do not always find them, more importantly, it is difficult to solve the real-life problem for them when they are disappointed. Consequently, from my personal experience, it should be better for teachers to use humor as much as possible during the teaching process, not all the time.

Thanks a lot, Shalva for your thoughts.
The question "how MUCH fun is to be the part of the teaching" is far exceeding our topic, digital teaching. But what is true that, in my opinion, computer in the class have 100 more chances to be used for gamification, entertainment and... fun. So in other words, if you teach digitally, you have more chances to entertain your class. Maybe we should have a round of discussion on that today in ZOOM.

I don't agree that students must have fun all the time, they should be prepared for real-life problem solving

Real life problem solving can be fun too, what do you think? Each time I run long distance I can not say exactly, is it fun or suffering :)
